Japanese tax regulation requires folloings:

1.Effective income tax rate is approximately 41% (2010 Jan)
2.Every company needs to declare every year.
3.Usually declarations are made to three tax authorities(State,prefecture,town)
4.Deadline of declaration is within 2 months from fiscal closing date.
5. If gross sales amount exceeds 10mil JPY,you have a duty to declaration of consumption tax on the year after next.
